Why We Need the FairTax

This issue is not about what party anyone belongs to, it about the system and the economy that we are challenged with and with the direction of our future. We have to stop big government.  Many countries of the world know the changes the Fair Tax would bring to our economy and taxation system  will make us the world’s best once again with a better economy, and this scares them. Those countries are the reason we are in the shape we are in now. Big Government, with their wasteful spending and higher taxation, has killed off our small businesses, the very back bone of this world class economy.  It has caused many businesses to close down and is giving to other countries, like the socialist China, much of the business to build their world economy. This is bad but not as bad as I am going to inform many of you as what I am about to write.

With the much of our business gone from our economy, the government has to turn to other countries, like socialist China and their banks, for loans. By loans I mean our government “prints” money they don’t have. In return our government asks China to “back” our dollar.  This depreciates the value of our dollar, so more taxes are needed to pay for more spending and so it goes on.  I am against the “bailouts” and the “stimulus” packages, it’s a Band-Aid on a problem which still needs to be solved.   Why are we giving money to those who did not pay taxes in the first place?   If they don’t pay taxes, why do they get to vote anyway?

Now after all this borrowing we do from Socialist China, what are we going to do if China tells the USA to “pay-up” our debt to them right now? This could happen today if China choose to do so. We can’t pay up and here is the scary part, Socialist China could then take control of our assets.  That means stocks in our economy, stocks in our military, stocks in our resources like oil, natural gases, etc., and then even our government. There goes the economy, our free enterprise small businesses, our free way of life. To think our American Soldiers, who fought and lost their lives against these very principles of socialism, would have done so in vain.  Socialist China would have control, all because we will not stop our big government from big spending and we will not change the IRS system that is out dated, out of control and so broken down. The Founding Fathers of these United States of America (and Georgia being one of the first of thirteen original states) fought the tyranny of heavy taxation of a European Country, of the United Kingdom, who had the best military in the world, sounds so familiar. To think, we are now that united kingdom about to collapse from within because of that same problem of governmental (IRS) taxation.

The Fair Tax is controlled by the people, not the government. Even with Fair Tax, products and good prices would actually cost a lower price. World economist have proven and examined Fair Tax policies, claiming it would solve our current problem with the economy. Our government would be downsized with the elimination of the IRS. Wouldn’t it be so nice every April 15th of every year, that we did not have to worry about getting tax papers filed or extension? Never have to worry, if the IRS will come back on you later because some little mistake, and cost all of those penalties compounded daily some one or two years later. Everyone would pay taxes and all would be equal for everyone. No more loop holes for corporations and big businesses to escape, paying taxes just like individuals. Every individual working would bring home a whole pay check, not paying more taxes just because you work.  The more overtime you work, YOU get to keep what YOU worked for. Bring home your pay check to invest in to our country economy and stocks. Bring home your pay check to build your retirement so you can retire – not work all your life away, actually retiring. Not working!   Imagine how fast those companies, who left our country, would come back. American Companies with American workers.

Our future, not just us, but our children’s, is being destroyed by a broken down system and big government spending. We need to act fast to abolish 16th amendment of the Constitution. We have to take back the government. We the people control where, what, how, and when taxes are to be paid.
We all work hard, sometimes to the point we wonder why. I say no more because we need real change, let us all have our Fair Tax.
